INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT 70-79

Goes between engine bay end of the actual steering column and links the steering column to the steering gearbox. This has the early series ROUND SPLINED SHAFT for the steering column to spline into. Length from bolt hole center to center is 16.75 inches / 42.5 cm. Extendable to at least 19.25 inches / 49.5 cm. Note the top mount hole is in the SIDE of the shaft, not center mounted as were the later 1978 models.
